The small, square White Castle hamburger has the trademarked name "Slyder" not because it is greasy, but for the way it slides neatly in and out out of its cardboard casing.
A person who eats six or more "Slyders" in one sitting is referred to as a "Slyder pilot."
A 30-burger box is called a "Crave Case."
A "Crave Crate" is offered at some locations, it contains 100 burgers.

That first paragraph sounds like a desperate PR damage-control attempt on White Castle's part. "No, really! It's because they fit the boxes!"
Agreed. Why would person be dubbed a 'slyder pilot' after consuming 6 burgers in one seating if slyder was just a reference to how the burger is packaged?
