The lower picture is a patisserie window in Paris. It is not unique, there seems to be a patisserie on every street. Cream, sugar, chocolate and fruit delight the senses!
The upper picture is of a Tokyo bakery window full of 'sampuru' the Japanese word for sample. The masterful plastic replicas never droop or sour and manage to entice customers.
