Hopperesque

Edward Hopper- Hotel Window 1955

TV Guide- Mad Men

Edward Hopper often painted solitary figures suggesting themes of isolation, loneliness or alienation. His paintings and his figures so deep in thought, possess an unmistakable silence.

There is so much to like about the AMC series Mad Men, but one aspect I really admire and enjoy are the private moments in which the characters are allowed to linger, their silence speaks volumes.
