In 1975, Bob Dylan invited T-Bone Burnett to join his Rolling Thunder Revue as a guitarist. Truly a tour I wish I'd seen, it's one of the best live performances recorded and at the top of my favorite Dylan CD's.

In 1998, Ethan and Joel Coen's film, The Big Lebowski is released, starring Jeff Bridges as The Dude. The spectacular title sequence plays Bob Dylan's song The Man in Me. T-Bone Burnett is credited as 'music archivist.'

In 2000, the Coen brothers film O Brother Where Art Thou? hits theaters with a spirited bluegrass inspired soundtrack produced by T-Bone Burnett.
At the close of 2009, Jeff Bridges performs the songs in Crazy Heart, whose soundtrack is produced by T-Bone Burnett.
