Deyrolle

In February 2008, a fire raged through Deyrolle, the unique taxidermy shop on rue du Bac in the chic Left Bank of Paris. Since 1831, the shop (which resembles a museum) has provided a portal to the world of natural sciences to students, teachers and the obsessively curious. The building has been restored thanks to generous donations. The Cabinet of Curiosities, also called the Wonder Rooms may be smaller than they once were, but a must see nonetheless.
