The thing to remember when illustrating a story for children is that they can be very literal. But also wonderfully open and excitable. The Los Angeles Skirball Center has a spectacular Noah's Ark exhibit designed by the geniuses of Olson Kundig Architects. With broad strokes of inventiveness and grace, combining wood, light and space, the ancient story of a man, his mission and a whole lotta animals comes to life!

It is gorgeous, and has probably tripled skirballs attendance. Wills a bit old for this now. But we do love the kosher food at Zeidlers too.
