Danny

Roald Dahl is a brilliant writer. It is a rare phenomenon that I feel anxious and sad when approaching the final pages of a book, not wanting it to end, not ready to leave that delicious world. This almost always happens when I'm reading Dahl, and especially when reading Danny the Champion of the World.

How can you not love Danny?

The next to last page is poetic, musical even,
and leaves me sure-fire gobsmacked verklempt.

The final page, pure inspiration.

I think teacher whyatts a bit young for Dahl, but maybe in a year or so... do you offer Dahl camp in 312?
