Fashion designer Paul Smith is known for his playful approach to wardrobe staples like business ties, crisp shirts and wool trousers. For over 15 years, he has received a variety of items, sent via traditional post, but without the benefit of standard packaging. Furniture, toys and tchotchkes have arrived at Smith's office, decorated with colorful postage stamps, always hand-addressed by the anonymous sender. Smith created an exhibit titled simply, Stamped Objects.
