Truth is, I see the beauty of living in a box. I love the pared down aesthetic, the clean lines and lightness that comes from having little ornamentation. The box can be made brilliant of course, with a bit of magic.
Architect Hironaka Ogawa salvaged trees, sent them to a kiln for two weeks to get completely dried, then crane-lifted and secured them to become structural columns in his design.
